What did Nelson actually look like? I was lucky enough to have identified a mask at the Royal Navy in Portsmouth, as a genuine life mask of Nelson, and so based my sculpture on a copy of it which was lent to me by the DIrector of the Musem, Colin White.
My accurate sculpting proved itself when comparing the profile of Nelson’s great great great granddaughter, Anna Tribe with my bronze bust of the Admiral 200 years after his death. Their profiles were identical thus demonstraited indelible DNA! It's a limited edition!
